Trudi Caffell has been a writer and editor in the magazine industry for the last five years. During her working career she has also worked as a citizenship officer, a waitress and a call centre operator. She has travelled widely, having lived in Denmark as an exchange student, and then later in England and Scotland on her OE, as well as a stint as a camp counselor in the US. One of her favourite trips was two years ago when she and her husband Peter went to New York, London and Istanbul for their honeymoon.
Trudi has loved reading since she was a young child and used to sit up late by the light of a torch, unable to put an exciting book down. She has wanted to be a writer for most of her life. Trudi lives in the wilds of Titirangi with Peter and their cat Daisy. They live close to all the west coast beaches and often head to Cornwallis and walk off the stresses of the day. She can also be found most Saturday mornings with her creative writing group, the CT writers, enjoying several cups of lemon tea and a bit of tough love.
