Pip Adam

I'm the author of three books: a collection of short stories Everything We Hoped For (Te Herenga Waka University Press, 2010), and the novels I’m Working on a Building (Te Herenga Waka University , 2013), The New Animals (Te Herenga Waka University, 2017) which won the 2018 Acorn Foundation Prize for Fiction, and Nothing to See which was shortlisted for the Ockham NZ Book Awards. I was the 2021 Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington IIML/CNZ Writer in Residence.

I makes the podcast Better off Read. Here is a link to the podcast https://betterreadnz.wordpress.com/

Over ten years, I've been grateful to have facilitated workshops in many settings and to have also worked with writers one-on-one in mentoring situations.

I am interested in inclusive ways of supporting writers to create the work that only they can.
