Soldiers Son

Soldier’s Son- A story of hope and resilience This story shows how David, a boy with a macho father resolved to be different. He correctly read his mother’s anxiety when his father was physically and verbally abusive, resolving not be like that in a relationship. However, he did learn from his father when he was patient and calm. Eddy was an alcoholic but stopped drinking when he was 12 and passed on to him a respect for words and education. David belonged to a feminist study group at Teacher’s College and the divorced women’s stories cemented and extended his own sensitivities in relationships.

Soldier's Son

2020 I am now going to publish Soldier's Son as an ebook. Just finding out how to do it! I have also written two orther novels. Soldier's Wife which gives my late mother her voice and Free Spirits whic tells the story of my teaching career and how the system worked in a dew schools I taught in.

These two stories are about finding your way through the maze of rules in the education sstem and the people who helped the main character to become a better teacher.
