I have been a journalist/writer/biographer/managing editor for over 35 years. 'WEST - The History of Waitakere' was published by Random House in July 2009. I was both managing editor and a chapter writer for this celebration of all that is West Auckland. I managed the ASBCT [Foundation North] publication 'Te Kaitiaki o te Putea - The History of the ASB Community Trust 1988-2008' by Jade Reidy, published in October 2008. 'Waters of Double Reflections - The Story of Michael Park School' was published in October 2006. 'Our Boys - Raising strong, happy sons from boyhood to manhood' - co-authored with Richard Aston, was published by Allen & Unwin in June 2016. I have co-written a number of biographies and am currently 50,000 words into my first novel, following the lives of five generations of women, separated from their mothers either through migration, divorce or mental illness. I am a communications consultant to not-for-profit organisations through AstonKerr Ltd (see website link above).
