Open mic night for emerging writers

Open mic night for emerging writers

Kia ora e te whānau!

You are warmly invited to join us at the New Zealand Society of Authors Wellington Branch Open Mic night in Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington on Thursday 14 March. A group of emerging local writers will read from their work in progress (or, in some cases, their published work).

There are still some spots available for NZSA members to read, please get in touch at wellington@nzauthors.org.nz. There may also be spots available on the night, so come prepared.

Bring along friends, whānau (and a cheeky bottle of bubbles if so inclined) for an hour and a half of local talent at Wellington Writers’ Studio.

When: 6.30pm–8.00pm on Thursday 14 March 2024

Where: Wellington Writers’ Studio, upstairs at 145 Cuba Street (look out for the McLeavey Gallery sign)

Accessibility: Access to Wellington Writers’ Studio is up a steep flight of stairs. Covid is still circulating, so as always we welcome anyone who chooses to wear a mask, and we ask that if you are unwell or isolating you stay home and stay safe.

Questions: If you have any queries, please email wellington@nzauthors.org.nz

This open mic night is part of the annual programme of events from NZSA Wellington Branch.
