Whether you want to write funny characters, lines or scenarios this invigorating workshop  reveals practical tips and exercises to help writers find the funny in just about anything or anyone.  AND find out how funny works for you even if you don’t write comedy.

Kathryn Burnett is an award-winning screenwriter and playwright with many produced television/stage credits under her belt – including “Under The Vines”, “Brokenwood Mysteries” and “Fresh Eggs.” Last year she wrote “The Productive Writer Guidebook,” was published in the horror anthology “Remains to Be Told”(Clandestine Press) and enjoyed a critically acclaimed season of her comedy play “Mike & Virginia.” Her one woman show “Nicola Cheeseman is Back” was shortlisted for the 2023 NZ Adam Play Award and has subsequently been slated for production in June 2024.
