MOTUEKA LIVE POETS

Motueka Live Poets meet monthly on the third Wednesday at Armadillo’s Café, 122 High Street, Motueka at 7 pm. Their next meeting on Wednesday 16 October features the wonderful Olivia Hall and Carried Rudzinski, who are touring ‘How We Survive’, an empowering feminist spoken word performance.

This two-woman show presents a powerful and honest narrative on what it is to be a woman living and surviving in 2019. ‘How We Survive’ carries a switchblade and a hallelujah in the same breath as these women dig into rape culture, body image and Hermione as a feminist role-model. Hailing from New Zealand and America respectively, Hall and Rudzinski blend their voices into a fierce and uplifting performance promising to heal, nurture, and spark discussion. Come and experience just how we survive: together.
