Te Arero Toi is a free writing wānanga for Māori writers (of any experience level) who are interested in developing their storytelling practice in te reo Māori.

Learn from Tainui Tukiwaho and guest speakers about different approaches to writing in te reo Māori, and acquire some tools to help you develop your practice.

This wānanga is presented by Kōanga Festival in association with Playmarket, and will draw on the newly published Playmarket Guideline: He Reo, He Mauri, He Mana: Te Reo Māori Theatre nā Tainui Tukiwaho and Hōhepa Waitoa.
