Apply now for Toloa Scholarships

The Toloa Scholarships support Pacific students to pursue study in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). Scholarships are available at both secondary and tertiary levels.

There are 400 secondary scholarships and 10 tertiary scholarships on offer for the 2026 academic year.

  • Secondary scholarship applications close at 5pm on Friday 23 January 2026.
  • Tertiary scholarship applications close at 5pm on Monday 9 February 2026.

Scholarships for tertiary students in 2026 are available to those who have completed at least one year of study and are continuing full-time STEM study. Students entering their second year or beyond may apply. Students in their final year, or in Year 3 of their STEM studies, can access the Government fees-free programme and therefore will not be eligible for Toloa Scholarships.

The Ministry for Pacific Peoples funds the Toloa scholarships, which are administered by Le Va. Le Va manages the application process, disbursement of funds, and reporting.
