Judges: Anonymous, appointed on a three-year term.

DEADLINE for completed entry forms and fees to be received in Hong Kong OR the United Kingdom: 31 May 2016.

DEADLINE for entered work to be received by mail in Europe: 30 June 2016.

THE INTERNATIONAL PROVERSE PRIZE FOR UNPUBLISHED FICTION, NON-FICTION OR POETRY SUBMITTED IN ENGLISH 2016

Entry is open to all aged 18 or over on the date they sign the Entry Documents, irrespective of residence, nationality or citizenship.

Unpublished translations into English (including those already published in the writer’s mother tongue) submitted by the author are welcome. Work may be previously edited, acknowledging the editor.

The winner receives publication of the entered work and HK$10,000. (HKD7.80 approximately = US$1.00) Additional publication prizes may be awarded.

The judges meet in Europe in July/August and the semi-finalists are announced in August/September.

The entry fee is HK$220.00 (two hundred and twenty Hong Kong Dollars) or GBP32.00 (thirty-two pounds sterling) and can be paid in various ways as explained in the Entry documents and on the Proverse website.

The online archive of Newsletters from the present and previous year, with a few Press Releases, media notices and links to media interviews, give information about the founders and background of the Proverse Prize, previous winners and successful works already published, including entries from Australia, The Bahamas, Canada, Hong Kong, New Zealand, and the UK.
