2026 Open Competition Details:
- Open to NZ residents 17 years and over
- Stories must be original, not previously published in print or online
- No AI content
- Entry fee of $10 per story with a limit of 3 entries per person
- Closing date: 30 September 2026.
- Winners announced mid-November 2026

- No entry fee.
- Each student may enter up to two stories.
- Entries must be written in English
