Nominate outstanding editorial work for the Rosie 2026

Recognise outstanding editorial work by nominating an editor for the Rosie.

Nominations are now open for the Rosanne Fitzgibbon Editorial Award (the Rosie), IPEd’s biennial award recognising excellence in editing.

The Rosie celebrates editors whose skill, expertise and dedication have helped shape an outstanding published work. While editors are welcome to nominate themselves, we also encourage authors and publishers across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand to nominate an editor whose work deserves recognition.

Eligible works must have been published between 22 October 2024 and 21 October 2026. The nominated editor must be an IPEd Professional Member to be eligible for the award.

The winner receives a $4,000 cash prize and a framed certificate.

Nominations close on Wednesday 21 October 2026.

Full details on eligibility, judging criteria and how to nominate, including the nomination form and guidelines, are available on the IPEd website:
