Poems in the Waiting Room is launching its 2017 Poetry Competition.
As well as inviting you to participate we would appreciate if you could help spread the word. We would be grateful if you were able to display this poster within your community or share the web one with interested friends.
The competition has three aims; to provide us with a new selection of poems to use in our cards, to advertise the project and to assist in ongoing funding. We currently distribute 7750 free poetry cards to medical waiting rooms, rest homes, hospices and prisons throughout the South Island and most of the North Island every season. Each season’s poems are also transcribed into Braille booklets which are distributed by the RNZFB.
