10th Screenwriting Research Network (SRN) Conference

University of Otago in partnership with the New Zealand Writers Guild bring you the SRN 2017. Already ~100 papers have been accepted for presentation over the four days (submit here), with more coming in. From academic to hands-on practical looking at the art, preoccupations and concerns of screenwriting. From NZ, The Pacific, Australia, USA, UK, Europe, and Asia, expect 120-180 people to fly in from around the world for the conference. SRN want guests to have strong encounters with kiwi screenwriting and film-makers, and to gain insight into antipodean character of screen stories and story-telling. Keep an eye on the site for abstracts, keynotes and other details.

Screenwriting Research Network is a network of filmmakers and academics from 30 countries who research screenwriting.
