NorthWrite 2017: National Flash Fiction Day Workshop and Readings
Are you curious about flash fiction? Do you want to write flash fiction, short stories or poetry? Celebrate National Flash Fiction Day in Kawakawa with musician, performer and enthusiastic writer of flash, Vivian Thonger. Vivian, a Kerikeri resident, will guide you through a world of sound, music and exercises to stimulate new ideas and new writing creations. Vivian has run creativity sessions internationally for a wide variety of organisations for more than 30 years.
The workshop will be followed by readings of prize-winning and local flash fiction.
The event, which has been organised by the Northland branch of the New Zealand Society of Authors, will be held at Kings Creative Theatre Kawakawa from 1.30pm to 4pm on Sunday 25 June. Entry is $10 with afternoon tea provided.
