The Publishers Association of New Zealand manages the international market development initiatives for New Zealand literature on behalf of Creative New Zealand. This includes an international promotional fund to support New Zealand authors to attend literary festivals or engage in other international promotional events or activity.
International Promotional Fund for Literature
Through the International Promotional Fund for Literature support is offered to New Zealand authors for confirmed market development activities including attendance at an international literary festival, a book promotion tour overseas or other offshore, targeted opportunities. The fund offers up to NZ $3,000 per author for return economy airfares. Authors, festivals or international publishers are welcome to apply. Click here for more details and to apply.
The deadline for the next round of applications for the International Promotional Fund for Literature is 31 August.
The International Promotional Fund for Literature and Translation Grants are two of the opportunities administered by the Publishers Association of New Zealand (PANZ) as part of a Contract for Services with Creative New Zealand to deliver Capability Building and International Market Development Initiatives for Literature 2015 – 2018.
