The New Zealand Heritage Book Awards and Writing Competition is open now! Jim McAloon and Fiona Kidman will be judging the novels and non-fiction books, respectively. First prize is $1000 for the books, and for the short prose and poetry, $200. The theme for short form entries is ‘Finding Our Way’. Submissions close 15 August.
