The New Zealand Book Awards Trust is calling for entries for the 2018 NZ Book Awards for Children & Young Adults.

There are two submission deadlines. You are asked to send your entries in these two tranches for ease of sending to the judges.

• For books published between 1 April 2017and 30 November 2017, submissions are open now, and will close at 5pm on Thursday, 14 December 2017
• For books published between 1 December 2017 and 31 March 2018, submissions open on 15 December and will close at 5pm on Friday, 23 February 2018

For books in the second tranche, bound page proofs will be accepted where books are not yet printed; finished books must arrive with the Awards Administrator by 5pm on Friday, 30 March 2018. Entry guidelines and forms can be found on the website.
