MURDER IN THE LIBRARY

Nelson Public Libraries are hosting another Murder in the Library panel discussion in association with the Ngaio Marsh Awards. The event takes place in the Elma Turner Library on Thursday 24 May, 6 pm. On the panel this year are two top New Zealand crime writers, Paul Cleave and Alan Carter. The panel will be chaired by Stella Chrysostomou.

Paul and Alan are both in the running for this year’s award. Paul Cleave is a three-time winner of the Ngaio Marsh Awards, and his entry this year is his tenth thriller, A Killer Harvest. Top of the South branch member Alan Carter is a Ned Kelly Award winner, and is in the running for this year’s Ngaio with his fourth novel, Marlborough Man – a mystery featuring a former undercover policeman who is now in hiding from British gangsters while policing in the rural areas of the Top of the South.
