NZSA Auckland Branch is proud to bring you the Literary Lounge Series this June and July.  At the ‘Journalists in Conversation’ event Adam Dudding and Steve Braunias will talk about being journalists and authors in Aotearoa.

Award-winning feature writer Adam Dudding is a reporter for Stuff. My Father’s Island, a memoir about his late father the literary editor Robin Dudding, won the Best First Book Award for General Non-Fiction at the 2017 Ockham NZ Book Awards. The following year, he ghost-wrote the medical memoir Mind That Child, which spent a couple of months in the NZ non-fiction bestseller lists.

 

 

Steve Braunias is a staff writer at the New Zealand Herald, and the author of 10 books. As publisher at Luncheon Sausage Books, his latest book is The Friday Poem, the best-selling anthology of recent New Zealand poetry. He also serves as lifetime president of the Hamilton Press Club. Steve lives in Te Atatu.
