Nathan Homestead Manurewa
The aim? To inspire writers to write.
South Auckland’s second literary festival has a new date, moved to Nathan Homestead in Manurewa and is hosting a smaller event this year. There is still plenty to inspire – character development with Lizzi Tremayne, writing successful nonfiction with Richard Webster and Self-publishing with the Spa Girls. A panel discussion on world building in the sci-fi/fantasy genre. The wonderful Andrea Jutson is facilitating the discussion again this year. The announcement of the Franklin writers group Flash Fiction competition and Setting the scene where you can indulge in Soup, Scones and stories -perfect for a winters evening. Authors reading their work include Rosetta Allan and Anne Kennedy.
Limited numbers in some sessions reflect a personalized approach, book early.
Door sales are cash and EFTPOS.
Proudly sponsored by Manurewa local board, Auckland Council Creative Communities Scheme and in association with the New Zealand Book Council.
