Editing Course- FREE for Auckland Members

Editing Your Writing
10am – 12pm, 30 November
Elizabeth Yates Room
Ellen Melville Centre

Sue Copsey has worked as an editor for more than 25 years. She was a senior editor at Dorling Kindersley in London, before moving to New Zealand where she has freelanced for publishers including Pearson, New Holland and Huia. She also works directly with authors preparing their manuscripts for submission or self-publishing.

As a children’s author, Sue is both traditionally and self-published, and has received two Storylines Notable Book awards. In January 2020, her first novel for adults will be published by Penguin Random House in the US, and Little Brown UK.

Sue will be running this two-hour workshop on editing to help our writers take a good piece of writing and make it better. Thanks to funds raised through other events we can offer this free to Auckland members – but there are only 30 places so book immediately! The course will be opened to non-members at a price of $50 on 25 October if not full so don’t delay!

UPDATE 30/10/2019 – only ONE place left so book quick!
