Successful trans-Tasman author, Nikki Crutchley Copy

NZSA Auckland Branch
Friday 9 April (meet from 5pm, meeting starts 6.15pm)
Note: Due to Good Friday, this is the SECOND Friday of the month

SHE’S BACK ON! Nikki Crutchley
From self-publishing to being headhunted by literary agents
to a trans-Tasman deal

In December 2020, NZSA member Nikki Crutchley signed a two-book deal with Harper Collins Australia to be published here and in Australia. Her success follows years of hard work, three self-published titles, and being noticed by literary agents High Spot Literary who reached out to offer representation.

Postponed due to Covid restrictions, come to our April meeting and hear Nikki in conversation with Rosetta Allan as they discuss her journey and see what you can learn to form your own road to success!

MEETING LOCATION

Our April meeting will be held in The Coffee Club, 42 High Street, Auckland CBD (on the edge of Freyberg Square) – they are staying open late just for us!
We will no longer be taking a koha but instead encourage everyone to buy drink and food which suits your budget and dietary requirements. Please support their business as they are allowing us to use the space for no cost.
Parking is available just up the road in the Victoria St carpark and The Coffee Club is an easy walk from the train or ferry.

Final Note:

The Auckland Branch works to create meetings which are inclusive and welcoming. The meetings aim to be a great introduction to NZSA for new members as well as a place of community for all. For this reason the business part of the meeting is kept brief and finer points about the running of the branch are managed at committee level. No new business is added to the agenda on the night. All members are expected to act in a professional, appropriate manner.
