Te Hā o te Kupu 2022 National Māori Writers Hui March 18-20, 2022
Te Hā o Ngā Pou Kaituhi Māori is the Māori writers branch of Toi Māori, Aotearoa. Our purpose is to identify, encourage, and promote writing by Māori authors writing in Te Reo Māori and in English. We tautoko writers of all ages, support storytelling in creative and diverse ways, and assist authors at any stage of their writing journey by providing opportunities to meet, to learn from each other, and to collaborate.
We like to think of Te Hā o Ngā Pou as an eco-system of Māori writers where not only do we encourage and promote writing by Māori, but we also help to connect and weave our writers together across the motu to establish meaningful relationships across our shared passion and purpose.
