Aotearoa NZ Festival of the Arts is back! This time with a revised Writers programme that can operate safely and viably under the Red light setting restrictions, and that you can experience wherever you are.
Our new online platform gives you access to more than 30 Writers talks, classical music and other performances available for anyone to watch on any device, anywhere via te Festival website.
All online events will use a “pay what you can” system, meaning you set the tone for what you would like to contribute to experience our Festival events. Please consider how much you pay for your ticket based on individual streaming or group viewings.
Preorder your tickets today, or access the streamed events throughout the Festival until 3 April 2022.
Look forward to seeing you in Wellington or online!
The digital Writers events feature extraordinary conversations with international and local writers, bringing the world of ideas and imagination to audiences anywhere in the world.
Themes range from discussing the contemporary retelling of pūrākau Māori, prize-winning autofiction, writing on the intersection of art, bodies and psychology, the joy of gardening, to discussing the value of Mātauranga Māori today, and much more.
With headline acts such as Patricia Lockwood (US), How We Love with Emily Writes (NZ) and Clementine Ford (AUS), Patricia Grace (NZ), Whiti Hereaka (NZ), Nicky Hager and Mandy Hager (NZ) our revised Writers programme retains many of the extraordinary writers we hoped to bring you in person.
Check out the Online: Writers programme and pre-order your sessions from today.
