Anne Manchester

Anne Manchester is a journalist and editor who has spent most of her working life editing the national nursing journal Kai Tiaki Nuring New Zealand. She edited, with Mary McCallum and Maggie Rainey-Smith, Eastbourne: An Anthology (Makaro Press, 2013), has published two children's books, Toughen up, Andrew! (Submarine, Makaro Press, 2016) and Andrew Down Under: The story of an immigrant dog (Submarine, Makaro Press, 2018), and a memoir Memory Stick (Wayfarer, Cuba Press) in 2020. Her biography of New Zealand hymn writer Shirley Erena Murray, Peace is Her Song, The life and legacy of Shirley Erena Murray, Philip Garside Publishing, will be launched in Wellington on 7 September.
