Atakohu Middleton

Dr Atakohu Middleton (Waikato, Pākehā) is a journalist working in English and te reo Māori and also writes short fiction in te reo Māori. In more than 30 years in journalism she has written for a range of local and overseas publications, including the Sunday Star, the New Zealand Herald, the New Zealand Listener, Mana magazine, E-Tangata, and The Guardian (UK). She holds a PhD in Māori-language journalism from AUT.
