I'm Margie, a very fortunate woman who never lost her inner child.  I love to write childrens picture book stories because they make me laugh. They make all the children and adults I read them to laugh. I love to read childrens picture books by many different authorsto myself. They are amazing for lifting spirits and being transported back to who we are.  I have written eight books so far in the Aunty Pippi series as well as two books not in the series.  My aim is to write with such entertainment that adults want to read them to children, the children laugh, adults laugh and both are incentivised to read.  

I'm not published but I intend to be.  I did have an interview with Julia Marshall from Gecko Press.  She really liked my first book but it wasn't the sort that they publish. Julia suggested other publishers that would think they were great.  My courage failed and I never pursued them.  This has changed and I'm going to do my darndest to follow my dream.  If I don’t do it how will I model to all the children around me to follow theirs.
