Books and travel have fascinated Blossom, right from the start. Since her teens, she enjoyed writing poems and short-stories for magazines, at school, university and church. Her husband’s career caused the family to lead a rather nomadic but very interesting life in fascinating cities, both home and overseas. This lifestyle fuelled ideas for several of Blossom’s books, which are generally humorous. She lives with her family in Auckland along with their dogs, Duke (a black Labrador) and Bubbles ( a mischievous but adorable Beagle). Blossom graduated in French and Psychology and then acquired a degree in Law. She is now pursuing her dream. Her first book to be published a few years ago was, Dashing Duke and his Dodgy Adventures, a collection of delightful story-poems based on her dog, Duke is available on Amazon. Since then she has written over a dozen short collection of poems, both for Children and Adults, such as Puddles and Pot-Holes, Sugar ‘n’ Spice, A Destination named Delight and Holly’s Hilarious Hazards to name a few. Currently Blossom is working on a trilogy for children.
