Christine Griffiths

I am a kiwi in my fifties, an ex-journalist, and I love to write funny and quirky, or strange and downright gruesome short stories and books in a literary style.

I have won or been placed in various competitions both nationally (broadcast on Radio New Zealand as a winner of their Short Story competition, shortlisted for the Graeme Lay Short Story competition, twice featured in the monthly Flash Frontier) and internationally, including being shortlisted for the Bridport Prize for short stories and flash fiction, a Silver Award from Writers of the Future and various online publications.

I have also written a collection of true comic tales, and one and a half books - a thriller and a sci-fi. After travelling the world I now live with my small family in gothic Dunedin, New Zealand's Edinburgh of the South, and write in an Escape Pod in the garden.
