Clinton Dixon

Clinton Dixon is an Auckland born aspiring novelist who lives with his family on a university campus in Singapore. While studying in Singapore, he was approached to write a weekly blog of his experiences with his new-found home and from there, an interest in writing began which led to him writing his first novel.

Having worked in television production, the energy industry and also owning a successful small business, Clinton hopes to combine his eclectic and divergent career path with his own spiritual journey to further examine the human condition and try and make sense of this thing we called life.

Currently completing his debut novel ‘Bay Boy’ - a YA adventure about a school boy jazz musician growing up in 1980's Hawke's Bay - Clinton hopes to reveal the many struggles that gifted teenagers face while growing up in small town New Zealand.

Clinton holds a National Business Diploma and Business Economics Degree from the Auckland University of Technology (AUT) and also an Advanced Certificate of Theology from the School of Theology, Singapore.

He hopes to return home to live in New Zealand in the future with his family.
