i spent some time in the British Royal Navy, hence the nautical theme in these little books. The first book evolved during a road trip with my wife and our four year old Grandson, Will. We hadn't taken any children's books, so I improvised! Captain Stinky and Sailor Puss were born. Each evening, for three weeks, I ended that part of the story with "Guess What." That enabled me to think of the next part during the following day!
Later, on a visit to see our daughter in Oregon, I was introduced to Erika Bentsen, a truly amazing illustrator. She loved the story. We self published via Ingram Spark. A process that took two years, and have gone on to have four books to date with two more in draft form.
The objective is to write amuzing ficticious tales interspersed with facts about old sailing ships, sea fish and birds. A Chuckle and Learn series.
