Don Long
Don Long's children's books have been published by trade and educational publishers, in New Zealand and overseas. He edits books for children in Pacific languages for ministries of education. With Witi Ihimaera, he has edited six anthologies of contemporary Māori writing. As D.S. Long, he is also a published poet. He was awarded a MNZM for services to literarature and Pacific languages in the 2020.
