Gretchen Brassington writes for children up to the age of young adults. Her stories are primarily adventure-based, with plots anchored in real life incidences that ring true. Her motivation is to entertain young readers so that they lose themselves in the adventure and find enjoyment. Narratives thus far are set in uniquely New Zealand and Australian settings.
