Janine Irvine

Dr Janine Irvine completed her doctoral studies in English (Life Writing), researching the telling of local histories and community accounts through local history books in New Zealand. She is especially interested in collaborative storytelling. 

Janine has written and co-produced a number of private and public publications in biography, family and personal histories and community stories. She encourages the creative expression and restorative qualities of life writing where people explore and share their stories - learning about themselves, their heritage and their life experiences.
