I am a semi-retired advertising creative director/copywriter.

I've enjoyed a thirty-years-plus career based predominantly in Christchurch and Nelson. I've written for all forms of media, and directed/produced radio, tv, video, short film and live theatre.

I am excited by most aspects of the arts, and create in a wide variety of them, including music. Writing short stories remains one of my passions: I've had many published in various magazines and anthologies, as well as in my London-based book, The City - Stories, produced by CopyPress in October 2025.
