Jessica Hinerangi Thompson- Carr (Ngāruahine, Ngāti Ruanui, Ngāpuhi) is an Ōtepoti based illustrator and poet, (@maori_mermaid). She achieved her degree in English and Art History in 2018, and her Masters Coursework in 2019. She published her first poetry collection Āria in 2023 and is currently working on her next pukapuka.
