Uncommon Enemy

A What If? novel based on the premiss that New Zealand was occupied by Germany in World War II. Two young men, Stuart Johnson and Hamish Beavis are rivals for the love of the beautiful Carol Peterson. After the Nazi takeover Johnson joins the resistance while Beavis joins the New Order where he uses all his newly acquired power to destroy Johnson. Writing Your First Novel

Starblaze: A Musical

The story and dialogue were written by John Reynolds and the score written by Auckland composer Shade Smith. In a series of actions, dialogue and music it tells the story through the eyes of Sandy Sanderson, daughter of the leader of a group of female space pirates and their battle against the intergalactic dictator Odium. Their adventures include capturing Odium, being forced to release him, crash landing on a strange planet, an encounter with the Misunderstood Monsters. In the final act Sandy leads a group on a mission to rescue her mother and the crew members from the clutches of Odium. She time travels back to Sherwood Forest where she becomes Robyn Hood the leader of a band of outlaw women. In a series of adventures Robyn and her band battle the forces of the Sheriff of Nottingham, discover their leader's long lost sister, and face a trial where Robyn is condemned to death.
