Jonathan McQuillan is a writer and factotum whose career has spanned managing a theatre, hosting radio shows on 95bFM in Auckland, jobbing as a professional Santa Claus, and working at the access radio station in Hamilton as Programme Director. Originally from the North West of England, via Cepe Town and London, he now lives on Waiheke Island with his family. Over six years of daily ferry commutes, he wrote his debut novel, High Impact Insensitivity, a sharp and satirical look at the chaos of radio, tapping it out entirely on his phone.
