Jeremy Redmore
Jeremy Redmore is largely known as an award-winning songwriter and performer, both as a solo artist and with his band Midnight Youth (2007-2012). However, the written word has always been a sustaining force within that journey.
Redmore completed a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in history, from Auckland University in 2004 which began a love affair with the form, function and explanatory powers of language. During his studies he began working as an online sub-editor and journalist for TVNZ and has now marked 20 years working in editorial roles for New Zealand's largest online entities (NZ Herald, Stuff and Newshub). Redmore also works as a freelance copywriter, specialising in grant proposals, press releases and artist biographies.
In November 2021, Redmore published Sing Like A Unicorn - a read-aloud picture book for children aged 3-7 that aims to inspire and encourage individuality and self-awareness via the joys of singing.

Sing Like A Unicorn
Sing Like A Unicorn is a read-aloud picture book for children aged 3-7 that's wholly inspired by the idea that inside each of us is a completely unique individual that can be happier, more fulfilled and make the world a better place through embracing their originality. And one of the easiest and most fun ways to do that is by singing!
Jeremy Redmore's sweet and simple story has been placed within a visual wonderland by illustrator Jason Crowley; who brings a semi-fluffy and rather large unicorn to life in a land full of weird and wondrous creatures.
