Kate Clark
Kate Clark has been shortlisted for the Storylines Joy Cowley Award for an original picture book text. Her first book, Rhythm, a syncopation of three short stories, is available in ebook on Amazon. She has recently moved back to Wellington after some time in the Tauranga and then in Christchurch/Waimakariri. A Quantity Surveyor for Residential Builders, but currently on ACC, she has a Diploma in Arts in English (Creative Writing) from Massey, a NZ Diploma in Applied Writing (Level 5 & 6) from NorthTec. Writing poetry with an interest in haiku or writing children's picture books or novels are her favourite genres however Kate enjoys the challenge of entering short story contests.
