Described as a writer, musician and artist, living on Waiheke Island, I published my first book of short stories in August 2021, through Lasavia Publishing. 'My First Real Pash,' is a collection of short stories described as gripping, funny, tragic and cathartic, condensing real life experiences into a few pages. The book is currently for sale online and at Waiheke stores. I did a small book launch tour around New Zealand this year, beginning in Hawkes Bay where the stories began 

I'm currently working on a novella called,'It's a long Way to Texas, Baby', about a young NZ woman who escapes the confines of an unhappy marriage in LA and searches for the only real friend she has in the States. With her four year old daughter, guitar, eighty dollars and a battered suitcase, she makes the three day trip across the Mojave desert. Arriving in Denton, Texas with only a few dollars left, she finds her friend has gone on vacation.

She meets up with Johnny Magana, a handsome mexican heartbreaker, when she gets a job in a local biker bar, Ruby's. Johnny is the lead guitarist with the Dallas Rhythm Aces and brings love and music into Gala's life, But there is a troubling past to this talented man, which colours their jorney and changes the course of her life.
