Kim Chamberlain

Kim Chamberlain is an award-winning writer, international speaker and trainer in the field of personal and professional development. With an MA Hons in Linguistics she has a love of words, language and communication. The author of over 10 books and e-books, Kim produces material based on the concept that taking small steps and undertaking activities that take a short amount of time can lead to significant improvement. Currently she is developing a series of books, e-books and online material based on the concept of learning in short periods of time. She also provides ‘5 Minute’ themed contributions for print media, newsletters, and websites, both regular columns and one-offs. Kim likes to establish new services that are of benefit to others, including women’s business network groups; a support group for people with home based businesses; and a chapter of the professional speakers’ association. Originally from the UK, she lived in a small town in East Africa for a few years, and now resides in Wellington with her husband, two children and pet blue tongued lizard. Kim would refuse to be stranded on a desert island if there were no pens, paper or chocolate.
