I'm an editor and writer. As an editor I specialise in fiction (novels and short stories) and literary non-fiction. Previous projects include editing books of fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and co-editing the art and literary journal Hue and Cry Press. I also have experience as a fiction mentor for Hagley Writer's Institute and supervisor and examiner for Te Herenga Waka Victoria University of Wellington.

My writing experience includes two books of fiction published by Te Herenga Waka University Press. These include I Got His Blood On Me, winner of the NZSA Hubert Church Award for Best First Book of Fiction. Other awards include the CNZ Todd New Writers Award.
