I am a retired journalist, now working on creative writing projects. I'm participating in NZSA workshops this year and I recently completed an introduction to creative writing with Creative Hub.  I was a judge for the New Zealand Mountain Book Festival, based in Wanaka, for several years and I have reviewed a variety of books and interviewed authors for newspapers. I support the Queenstown Writers and Readers Festival Writers Festival and Aspiring Conversations Festival as a volunteer. I belong to the Next Chapter Book Club and I have been honoured to read for writers working on their own projects. I am about to begin a new project helping a friend complete her memoirs. I am keen to establish connections in the writing world, with the goal of completing and publishing my own work.
