Mary de Ruyter is a freelance journalist and editor who has written about books, arts, culture and travel for North & South, Metro, NZ Herald, Stuff.co.nz, AA Directions, Good, Mindfood and many other publications. She also has a background in book editing/proofreading, and is currently compiling an anthology.
