I have self published a NZ made children's educational picture book about punctuation. I made it colourful, repetitive for kids and funny, it was trialled with kids to get their approval.

It is called -" Miss Punk-Chewation to the rescue,"  written for 4 year olds upwards, I am now a retired Primary teacher and while I was teaching I noticed there was no suitable book for teaching basic punctuation for younger children. I also illustrated the book.Local publishers were not that keen to publish it ,even if they liked the book as it has no NZ context, likewise educational publishers at the time were only interested in authors currently on their books.

It tends to be purchased by grandparents most often and is found in over 70 New Zealand schools, a few copies  have sold overseas. As a point of difference I have printed copies locally and it is not on the' bigsale engines' such as Amazon, so sell the copies myself.

I am currently working on a humorous light novel set in England and am slowly turning -Miss Punk( my nickname for the book) into a play for schools to use.
