Ray Meldrum is originally from Ōtepoti Dunedin and now lives in Ōrewa. He was an English teacher then education administrator, spending close on twenty years as a dean at Unitec. He has written a master’s and a PhD thesis and countless development and review documents and in retirement he gave all that away. He has written an unpublishable memoir and a novel that is too flabby and autobiographical to go anywhere. He has finished a draft of another novel which is currently with manuscript assessors.
