Ray Prowse is a lecturer in Academic Literacies with a Masters degree Professional Language Studies for Language Teaching with Distinction.  She has written musical plays in collaboration with three musicians which have been performed in schools, song lyrics published by the Education Department and had a short story read on Radio New Zealand. While travelling overseas she had travel articles published in The Greek News and the journal Comhairli Cairde in England. With a Diploma in Home Science from Otago University she is also interested in cooking and food writing.
