Rebecca Styles

Rebecca Styles has a PhD and MA in creative writing.  Her PhD thesis was a novel based on an ancestor’s experience of mental illness at Seacliff Asylum. She’s had short stories published in New Zealand journals and anthologies, and writes the occasional book review for local publications such as Landfall and Takahe.

During the day she's an investigative writer at Consumer NZ. Rebecca has been teaching short story writing at Wellington High School Community Education Centre since 2013.
